Petition updatePROTECT WICKLESHAM QUARRY FROM DEVELOPMENTApplication for Judicial Review has been made, thanks to your support!

On 8th November I applied to the High Court for Judicial Review of the decision by the Vale of White Horse District Council to adopt Faringdon Neighbourhood Plan following referendum.
The first stage of the CrowdJustice Appeal raised an incredible £10,260! Once the application has been granted, the stretch target Appeal will be launched.
Oxfordshire County Council is an interested party in this case, so it is unlikely they will now respond to my recent letters. However, members of the public can address inquiries to Mr Bev Hindle, Acting Director for Environment and Economy, at bev.hindle@oxfordshire.gov.uk,
or use the online form for inquiries and complaints about minerals enforcement matters at:
https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/content/making-enforcement-enquiry.
My first letter asked what the County Council intends to do, now that Grundon Ltd has failed to restore the quarry by the deadline of 30th September. Would the Council would take enforcement action, prosecute Grundon for non-compliance, appoint a new skilled contractor to carry out the restoration under scheme under close supervision - or all of the above?
Grundon's licence to operate at Wicklesham Quarry has now expired. I also asked Mr Hindle about a fleet of tipper lorries seen emerging from the quarry on 27th October, when permission to carry out operations had expired.
Please get in touch with Protect Wicklesham Quarry from Development with any queries, comments or donations, Email: protectwicklesham@gmail.com. With your help this important and irreplaceable site can be protected for future generations!
