Students who attend The University of Texas at Austin already spend enough money during the year on tuition and housing. Buying the Big Ticket to attend all home UT athletic games is also a huge economical burden for those who just want to be a spirited supporter of UT athletics. Therefore, I believe that these students who buy the Big Ticket should also gain access or at least access at a reduced price to tickets for the annual TX-OU game in Dallas, TX. This game defines the UT football experience, so the average student should be able to attend this game, which is impossible for some due to the immense economical burden it can create. That is why there needs to be a reduced price for students who buy the Big Ticket because everybody wins. I believe the additional price should be around the 50$-100$ range. The university still makes a profit as well as further incentive for students to buy the Big Ticket, and students gain easier access to attending the TX-OU game. I believe this is an extremely reasonable request and hope it can be made a reality.
