Students feel it is unfair for professors to use ProctorU to proctor their exams. These proctors can be very intrusive and force you to do things that are completely unnecessary, many students are not comfortable with the proctors asking them to expose themselves and their entire surroundings for each exam. Likewise many students have had issues with the ProctorU organization as they have gone Into their computer settings and completely changed every aspect and then do not fix it post exam. They also have a reputation of being entirely unreliable, they will cancel with less than a days notice or make you wait hours after your scheduled time to connect with you. Students feel It should be a duty of professors to give and proctor these exams as they are the ones responsible for teaching us the material and are assigned to the classes.
