The United States To Become A National "Smoke-Free" Legislation
The Issue
Problem: For generations, smoking has been playing a manipulative role by misleading the consumers into eventually losing their lives. We should all know that smoking a cigarette leads to lung cancer in which the disease takes away half a million lives per year.
More importantly, we are not even close to becoming smoke-free legislation for all public places compared to the other higher-income nations that have already banned tobacco for good. In short, the United States is currently a no national status, which is far from being the highest level of nationwide legislation.
Did you know that tobacco is also harmful to the environment? Smoking can also lead to hazardous air quality that plays one of the critical factors of global warming. Furthermore, it melts the Arctic ice, which leads to sea levels rising that would wipe out most of the existing cities worldwide.
Solution: Our goal is to save millions of our American lives and to decrease air pollution by doing the following steps:
- Raise the lung cancer awareness month by getting and donate in November: https://lcfamerica.org/get-involved/november-lung-cancer-awareness-month/#1571339669550-37b776df-7176
- Enforce the Drug Administration to ban smoking from all of the public indoors areas in the United States.
Otherwise, no actions taken will result in facing environmental consequences in addition to losing lives by lung cancer.
Benefits: The awareness and legislation will eventually require any active smokers to quit by having food and medication to prevent lung cancer as part of saving thousands of lives without tolerating. So, please sign and share the petition to have the United States become a national "smoke-free" legislation for the better cause of solving both of these problems.
