Right The Wrong!

A credible, trustworthy voting process is one of the fundamental building blocks of any democratic society. Delta Flight Attendants have been recently denied an opportunity to vote on whether or not they wanted union representation, because of allegations that an unknown person or persons submitted questionable authorization cards to the National Mediation Board (NMB). (The National Mediation Board is the government body that administers the election process for airline and railroad employees). The NMB has now referred the matter to the Department of Justice for its review.
We ask that the Department of Justice and the NMB act responsibly and expeditiously to resolve these charges and to allow Delta Flight Attendants to have the vote they rightfully deserve. We also ask that the process be adjusted to guarantee that future unionizing efforts will be credible, trustworthy and tamper-proof.
Finally, we ask that the NMB mandate that Employers be required to provide Employee signature samples that are recent and not subject to rejection for matters such as name changes or variations by the Employee in how they sign their otherwise valid signature to an authorization card document.
American workers deserve a fair and trustworthy voting process!
