The Issue
No game no life is a popular anime series, which has long been waiting for a season 2 with no updates on when it is releasing or if it is even being worked on.
Japan also has a history of denying their war crimes from the Second World War, and was able to get off pretty scratch free relative to the magnitude of their crimes.
So. Why not put these two things together and try to get a season 2.
