Over the last ten years we have been let down by the public broadcaster.. It appears their journalism is biased and not impartial.  We have to pay a stealth tax to subsidise this organisation when it clearly makes a profit from it's national and global services... I think in a radically changing global media market the BBC must learn to support itself..  We the general public who on average do not consume this content much in the twenty first century should not be beholdent to sponsoring it anymore.. We need to garner and capture the public mood on this issue to eventually bring a radical overhaul to this ailing institution: In recent years we have witnessed certain public figures being given preferential treatment on political peak-time shows; pro government tailored news reporting, and very recently, a so-called editing gaff on the Question time general election leaders debate.
