The Government takes over 50% of the mineworkers pension surplus and in return guarantee's the mineworkers pension. This has resulted in over  8 billion pounds worth of surpluses being taken from the miners pension fund and is disproportionate to risk involved by guaranteeing the pension.This money belongs to the miners no other taxpayer is involved it is solely miners contributions that have been invested and the government is refusing to renegotiate a fairer system we ask you to sign the petition and urge David Cameron to play fair to the miners of Britain.
