Make The Rainbow Flag Emoji Happen! #RainbowFlagEmoji

The Rainbow Flag is one of the most recognized flags in the world and the most inclusive. Using any smart electronic device you will see every country and more being represented with flag emojis. Why not a #RainbowFlagEmoji ?

When asking people what percentage of the world is LGBTQ, you may hear anything from 1% to 25%.

If we say 5% of the world is LGBTQ, that's 325 million people! That's bigger than the population of the United States, which is the third most populous country in the world.

More so, the rainbow flag is bigger than just the LGBTQ community. The rainbow flag crosses all borders, races, genders, and sexual orientations. Each color of the rainbow flag even has its own meaning, which are universal to every human being on the planet!

Red - Life
Orange - Healing
Yellow - Sunlight
Green - Nature
Blue - Harmony
Violet - Spirit

We invite you to stand for love and acceptance, join us in petitioning the Unicode Consortium to add the Rainbow Flag as an official Emoji. The Unicode Consortium is a group of some of the biggest companies and institutions in the world that vote which emojis will be created. Such members include Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Google, and Facebook, just to name a few.

Maybe you think Emoji’s are silly. But they are a part of our everyday life. We use emojis to communicate in ways words can not. Being that the rainbow flag is inclusive to all society it's an emoji that represents all of humanity. More than ever the LGBTQ community is seeking it's leaders to stand for all of us. Together with this emoji we can be seen, heard, and known!

Let’s come together to take a stand for the Emoji who’s time has come.
