Been announced on today's radio that due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the drop in number visitors to the Tower of London they are considering removing the Yeomen Warders. NO WAY. The Warders are all ex Forces from the UK and the Commonwealth with 22 years service in the Armed Forces, it's more scraping away of our history and heritage with the long term effects unimaginable. How long will our green and pleasant land continue to be dismantled. There are many, many things in this country to go before the Yeomen Warders (Beefeater's).
