This was mine:
So again the wonders of nuclear power make us dependent on a foreign power which for all practical purposes we are at war with. And it will take "more than a decade" go get off this dependency. All to make energy in plants catastropically dangerous in times of war and whose waste must be buried and guarded for thousands of years.
Near 15,000 of us have signed this petition calling for the U.S. to ban the import of Russian raw uranium and enriched uranium AND for a rapid phase-in to SAFE renewal solar, wind, geothermal and the rest.
