To emphasize the folly of nuclear power
Ukraine's largest Nuclear Power Complex Again Running on Emergency Power (for the Sixth Time)
"Whenever the electricity supply is cut, the plant relies on diesel generators to keep its vital cooling systems running, but they can only do the job for about 10 days, according to Energoatom."
It's clear for the invasion of Ukraine that when powers are in a major war they will NOT give nuclear power plants a pass.
Latest report is that after 6 hours the plants were again connected to the grid. So the world was lucky, but do you base your whole energy safety system on luck?
