In the past 14 years a government agency called Wildlife Services has killed over 40 million animals using M-44 cyanide bombs. in the year 2015 alone there was a total of 2610 accidental killings. These bombs not only explode but also cover you in sodium cyanide which suffocates you from the inside out. This is a horrible way for anything to die. The areas with bombs are also supposed to have warning signs but many people have said there was no sign in the area. The government group also uses painful snares or even shoots animals out of planes. Their goal? Protect livestock but the have killed pets and birds too. What they are doing is destroying the wildlife that so many people enjoy and the ecosystem needs to thrive. There are also other ways that Wildlife Services can protect livestock such as ensuring the livestock or installing fences in areas for livestock not killing animals. These devices have already been made illegal in Idaho and should be made illegal in the entire country. A former member of the agency says that they are told they are killing target animals but how do you know if they are blowing these poor animals out of the sky? so please join me and the animals in the fight to make M-44s illegal.
