Paul Errock started this petition to The U.K. Secretary of State

On 1st July 2019 Oldham Planning Department passed a new road and 265 No houses in an area that has been identified as both OPOL land and countryside, including wildlife, streams, waterfalls, migrating birds, owls, badgers, reptiles, trees and wildflowers against the wishes of the community who objected to this scheme by over 99% in written objections.

We the undersigned do not accept that this planning application was either impartial, fair, and objections were not taken into consideration.

This scheme will have a substantial negative impact in an area not sufficiently funded to accommodate such a large influx of additional people.

We call on the Secretary of State to the U.K. for a transparent independent review, we’re each opposing views are given equal consideration.
