In the age of Social Media, we are becoming more and more concerned by the standards allowed by Facebook.  The lack of action when said pages are reported and the very idea that animal abuse is recorded and shared on a daily basis, without intervention or Police action is unacceptable.

The Page 'eşek le gezmekten hoşlananlar' is a page which promotes donkey and pony abuse.  There are numerous pictures showing either weak or very small donkeys/ponies, being overloaded by scantily clad women or people whom are obviously too large for their steed to carry.  It is gratuitous. It is abuse.  It has been reported many times by upstanding citizens around the Globe, yet the page still stands and the abuse still continues.

This Petition will be delivered to Facebook.  It is time that these images were not ignored.  It will be delivered to The Turkish Consulate in London, as the page originates from Turkey and the Turkish Authorities should investigate this abuse.  It shall also be handed in to The Donkey Sanctuary, in order to advise them of this disturbing trend and with the hope that they may intervene and assist the animals being abused.
