Tell Governor Hochul & Albany Extremists "Our Schools, Our Rules!"

The Town of Hempstead -- and Long Island as a whole -- remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family. Aside from enjoying a great quality-of-life, one of the main reasons families flock to Long Island is because of its excellent school districts. Now, Governor Hochul and Albany bureaucrats are seeking another overreach of power, hoping to control our children's education through Albany's Regionalization Plan.

The plan seeks to "pool" our children's school programs and services, which will result in a decline in the quality of education for individual school districts. What's more, the plan will strip decision-making power from locally elected school boards and force every school district to participate in the plan with no ability to opt-out.

This plan is affecting the education of our children and future generations, and it is being pushed without receiving input from parents. We don't want resources and teachers to be redistributed away from our children. This is an assault of the suburbs, and will transform our schools into a school system similar to NYC. By decreasing the value of our local school districts, Governor Hochul is directly decreasing our local property values.
