More work to do yet.

The flag has come down!!!! It is an important first step and I want to make a point of thanking the homeowner on ninth street. I also want to believe that it is down for good. That he heard the voices of almost 25,000 people asking for his help.

Everyone’s journey and timing are different. I know from the fall news article on this issue he has had losses in his life. I hope that someone who knows him reads this and passes it on to him. I invite him to join in on the protest this Monday in town. He will find an overwhelming embrace and new extremely large family.

I also invite the collingwood council to join him in recognizing the need for change. If the flag can come down on ninth and he can come to the realization that we all need to take action and ownership so can our council.
