Reissue the Non-Sports Card series "Ugly Stickers" as a Heritage set

The Issue

In the mid 1960s, Monsters and Alien creatures were all the fad. Children and adults alike were drawn to the local cinema to indulge themselves in this new exciting and frightening phenomena sweeping across the worldwide stage. Many cartoon artists and toy companies saw the fiscal opportunity at their feet, and swiftly took advantage of this growing market. In 1962 the Topps Trading Card company released the Gruesome "Mars Attacks" series of trading cards, and in 1965 they brought to market the first iteration of their memorable "Ugly Stickers" insult series of monster sticker cards, each adorned with both a detailed image of a wild or humorous creature paired with a combination of common household names at the bottom. Just a few short years later Topps released the humorous Wacky Packages cards in 1967.
As a spirited revival of sorts, The Topps company released the "Garbage Pail Kids" series of insult trading card stickers in 1985, which were a parody of Cabbage Patch Kids poised in gross or humourous situations. The end product was a hybrid of the gruesome insult line of Ugly Stickers and the ingenious humor of the Wacky Packages products.

To date, Topps has continued to release trading cards for Garbage Pail Kids, Wacky packages, and even released a new issue of the Mars Attacks cards. I believe that Ugly Stickers are well overdue for the same treatment, and I look forward to the day that I can spend my hard earned cash on a reissued series with modern chase cards such as, but not limited to:
Multiple parallel borders, sketch cards, Glow in the dark cards, lost art, autographs and printing plates.

I would like to take the time to thank both you and Topps for considering this petition. Please sign this petition if you wish to see a Topps Heritage reissue of Ugly Stickers.
