A "Blank Slate" could become ... a Meadow? Garden Plots? Possibilities for Strawberry Knoll

Thank you for signing the petition An article on PATCH.com briefly describes the demolition of the garden, then sparks a conversation about MCPS's future use of this land, and its many properties all around the county. (See 10 photos there.)

How does Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) . . .
- Relate to adults who step forward to volunteer?
- Manage its green spaces–the grounds, trees, and creeks?
- Transition to a sustainable future and reduce carbon emissions?
- Enhance the security of the school and its human community?

These question should not be brushed aside, but discussed by a wider audience. The school district's practices should reflect the needs of the community. The land is cleared and ready ... for something. Strawberry Knoll could be an interesting experiment, but partners (some from MCPS itself) would be needed.
