URGENT CLARIFICATION! Due to a number of complaints and to avoid any further misunderstanding:

• This petition does not oppose abortions if the fetus either threatens the life of the mother or will cause her physical or mental impairment. 
• This petition does oppose abortion for the 90%+  who do so for reasons of personal convenience.  See the petition for statistics.

We are calling upon all of our signatories to now sign a new petition on behalf of all those who do not have a voice - the yet to be born!

We are horrified and outraged at the passing and signing of the New York State Reproductive Health Act (RHA), which allows abortions “at any time when necessary to protect a woman’s life or health.’’ 

Of course, the bill does not define the phrase "woman’s life or health" and opens the door for abortion, in any and every case the woman deems necessary, up till the moment of birth.

Secondly, considering that less than 8% of abortions are medically related - this bill is a red herring!

This bill is a horrific attack on basic human values and a black day for all humanity. Keep in mind that late-term abortions necessitate giving birth to the murdered baby after it’s lethal injection. Why not just give birth to a live baby and give it up for adoption?
