In a dramatic announcement, Yoram Halevy the Jerusalem District Commander has recommended to end the restrictions placed upon Knesset Members seeking to ascend the Temple Mount. 

It is important to remember that all final decisions in regard to the Temple Mount come from the Office of the Prime Minister. According to reports Netanyahu will not act upon the new recommendations, so as not antagonize the Kingdom of Jordan. It should be remembered that just one month ago, the Kingdom decided to opt out of renewing part of the signed Peace Accords from 25 years ago.
