Promise No US Extradition of Assange! Question him in London!

We, the undersigned, believe that Julian Assange has done a great service to the world by releasing critical documents that the public needs to know about. If extradited to Sweden, and then the United States, Assange could face life in prison, as U.S. officials have said Assange should be prosecuted by under the Espionage Act. We therefore ask the Swedish authorities to pledge not to extradite Assange to the US. As to the sexual accusations against Assange, the Swedish government should accept repeated offers by Ecuadoran officials and Assange’s lawyers to question him at the Ecuadoran Embassy in London.

We respectfully ask your government to stand on the side of people around the world who value free press and honor the contributions made by courageous people like Julian Assange.

Thank you.
