The Supreme Court Is Not God — Save the Souls Who Only Have God to Call Theirs.
The Issue
We, the citizens of India, appeal not in anger — but in conscience.
The recent Supreme Court directive ordering the removal of stray dogs from schools, hospitals, and public transport hubs may appear administrative.
But behind every “removal” is a breathing soul — trembling, loyal, trusting — a being that has never harmed the Constitution, never stolen from the treasury, never lied under oath.
Yet today, those voiceless lives are being sentenced — not by crime, but by existence.
Let this be remembered:
The Supreme Court is not God.
It cannot decide the fate of those who only have God to call theirs.
Public safety matters — but safety without compassion is tyranny.
Law without empathy is violence in disguise.
And progress that silences the innocent is regression wearing robes of justice.
India’s soul has always been defined by karuna (compassion), not cruelty.
The same land that worships Hanuman and Ganesha cannot turn its back on those who share their innocence.
We, the undersigned, demand:
A stay or humane modification of this order.
Implementation of Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023 — ensuring sterilized and vaccinated dogs are cared for, not vanished.
Creation of monitored shelters and vet care facilities before any relocation.
Inclusion of animal welfare organizations in oversight and decision-making.
Let the judiciary remember — when laws fail the voiceless, the heavens take note.
History will not remember our GDP, but our mercy.
And justice, when divorced from compassion, ceases to be justice at all.
For those who cannot speak — we speak.
For those who cannot fight — we fight.
For those who only have God — we become His hands.
Sign. Share. Speak.
Before another innocent life disappears quietly under the name of “order.”
Signed,
Concerned citizens who believe in humanity and divine compassion.
