A large amount of the local community feel that Benji Cheyne's sentence for sexual assault of a minor is not long enough and it should be increase to the maximum possible sentence. He has ruined the victims childhood and interfered with her education and normal emotional development with the trauma that he has caused whist in a position of trust. And I feel he used the pandemic I.e the lockdown restrictions to aid him in his criminal activities with a minor. Therefore we as a community feel that his sentence was to lenient for the long term mental damage that he will still be causing for the foreseeable future.
