Currently, the Parking and Traffic Office has assigned the new parking garage right outside of Mancester Hall and Glaucester Hall to be strictly for staff parking, as well as the lots outside of the Halle Library and the Post Center. Students living on this side of campus will struggle to have available parking and have lost the majority of the parking we had just last year. Without parking availability in the Halle Library lots or parking garage, students on this side of campus will be restricted to minimal parking that is far from our residence halls. Eventually, students will need to overflow into student parking on the other side of campus (ex. Overflow, Solar, etc) where parking is already a struggle, especially during the inclement weather we face often during the majority of the school year. While our staff needs and deserves priority parking, students who are parked for the majority of our time at school need some parking relatively close to residence halls. 

With students having either the lots behind the Halle Library or the two top floors of the parking garage, staff and students will have equal opportunity to have accessible parking throughout the school year.
