There should be all gender/gender inclusive bathrooms in Link Hall and in the Life Sciences Complex, these are the only two buildings on campus without all gender bathrooms. This creates an uncomfortable space regarding using the bathrooms in these buildings for non-binary/gender nonconforming/etc people. Yes, Link Hall is an older building and that may be the excuse there for not having an all gender bathroom, but that should not be an excuse because the oldest building on campus- The Hall of Languages has all gender bathrooms. There is definitely no excuse for the Life Sciences Complex, this building is more modern than Link Hall, and there is still no all gender bathrooms in the building. Every person should feel safe going to the bathroom, but at the point where a person has to choose which bathroom to go and weigh their options because they aren't strictly female or male is when it becomes an issue. People shouldn't have to choose which bathroom makes them feel "more" safe, or less dysphoric, an all gender bathroom is an easy solution for everyone, and everyone can go to the bathroom comfortably and safely regardless on gender. That is how it should be, because going to the bathroom shouldn't be a chore or a dreadful thing to go through, it should be a need and a right.
