Dear prime minister lee hsien loong

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you today as a concerned citizen who believes in the power of competent governance and the welfare of our beloved nation. I realize the weightiness and gravity of the decision you made to embrace public service and take on the responsibilities that come with it. However, it is with utmost regret that i find myself compelled to request your resignation due to what i perceive as a pattern of poor judgment and unsatisfactory governance during your tenure.

As a citizen, i hold profound respect for the principles of democracy and the importance of collective decision-making for our nation's progress. However, recent events and the subsequent aftermath have left me deeply troubled. It is apparent, in my personal opinion, that your leadership has been marked by misguided decision-making and a lack of responsible governance. lt is my sincere belief that a change in leadership is necessary to pave the way for a more prosperous and equitable future for all citizens.

Over the past 19 years you have been in office, i have witnessed decisions being made that have had negative repercussions on our economy, public welfare, and overall well-being. The disregard for sound policies, such as the escaping of mas salamat. The poor handling of covid 19 pandemic. poor judgment of choosing a bad speaker like tan chuan jin leading his bad intolerable behaviours. The failure of passing leadership to the 4g at the age of 70 as promised. The call for immediate ge for the 6 vacancy seats in the parliament. The suicide of the good spf officer uvaraja gopal due to bad discrimination and unfair treatment, which we want a full fairly investigation justice for our indian brother. The increase 9% of gst dispite the current bad economic conditions. The huge overcrowding population situation in sg. The ridiculous high cost of living, the transparency of the government and of course many more national issues in singapore.

The neglect of important vexatious issues that demand attention, and the prioritization of self-interest above the needs of the nation have deeply disappointed and concerned me.

Furthermore, i firmly believed that decisive actions should be taken to hold our leaders accountable for their actions. As citizens, we bear the responsibility to voice our collective concerns when our leaders fail to uphold the principles upon which our democracy was built.

I appeal to your sense of responsibility and self-reflection, prime minister lee hsien loong stepping down from your position would not only show integrity,good leadership,humility and respect for the citizens who entrusted you with this important role but also demonstrate your commitment to putting the welfare of our nation first. This decision would be a stark reminder to future leaders about the consequences of poor governance and will pave the way for your successor to uplift our nation with renewed vision and dedication.

In conclusion, i implore you to consider my request seriously. I believe that your resignation, given the circumstances, would serve as a positive step towards repairing the damage that has been done and rebuilding public trust in our governing institutions. I remain hopeful that you will make the right decision for the greater good of our nation.
