We want to prevent the demolition of the 11 state docks on Orchard Island Rd. (St. Rt. 708) located near Spend-a-Day Marina. If they succeed in demolishing these docks, the ONLY other docks that are available to publicly rent is Black hawk, Chippewa and Mound wood. All of which are 3-5 mi. from Orchard Island.  They do Not plan on rebuilding/replacing any docks in that area. Now, with the growing population of the Indian Lake, OH area it is vital for lake access to have as many docks available as possible for residents to have the comfort of having a dock close to home. 

Orchard Island inland homes would be affected due to lack of access to the water.  

If the demolition is not stopped with one, how many other docks at an affordable rate will be taken out and not replaced? 

Currently the PRIVATE dock rate is: Starting at $800/for the season 

Currently the PUBLIC dock rate is: around $500/for the season

Lakeview harbor is a nightly/weekly rental. 

Please give us your help in achieving the prevention of the demolition of the public docks. 

There will be numerous people of all ages be effected by this demolition such as: Permanent homes, Vacationing homes and Vacation rentals .
