The Issue:

With the recent election and chaos that followed, it has come to my attention that the state of Georgia's election system is flawed. 

The Solution:

My solution is as follows, to allocate two electoral votes to the statewide winner but allows each congressional district to award one electoral vote to the popular vote winner in their specific district.

Pros:

1. Opens up the possibly of a 3rd party to obtain electoral votes over our current "winner takes all" election system.
2. Its 100% legal within Constitution of the United States of America
3. It keeps one or multiple metropolitan areas from voting for the entire state.
4. If a party loses the the popular vote within the entire state, they can still get electoral votes.
5. If a party wins the popular vote within the entire state, other parties still can obtain electoral votes.
6. Presidential candidates would have to campaign within the entire state and not just the metropolitans.
7. This could lead to economic growth within the rural areas as politicians would have incentive to work within the those area.
8. This system is being used in the state of Maine and Nebraska. Resulting in Biden getting an electoral vote for Nebraska all while Trump won the popular vote. And Trump getting an electoral vote for Maine while Biden won the popular vote. All voting in favor of the people not just the state as a whole. 
9. Lessens the severity of any type of voter fraud. Making the integrity of the voting system stronger in the state.

I ask that all citizens in the state of Georgia to read over and sign this petition. This is not a right or left cause. This allows for the people of Georgia to be heard!
