Since its release in 2012 and its boost in 'popularity' in 2023, Sparx Maths has been demotivating students from maths. Used by over 2,600 schools in over 15 countries, 2.2 million students use Sparx Maths. And most of them hate this platform. This website has demotivated a lot of maths lovers to take maths for their A Levels. People who struggle at multi-tasking or have a form of dyslexia, ADHD etc. struggle at the bookwork checks. This homework platform has extremely high expectancies and gives off one simple message. 'Mistakes are unacceptable.' This is enforced by the fact that 100% completion is required in all homework. This petition is asking for change. This petition is asking for a stop to the unacceptable requirements Sparx Maths offers. We need change. We need it now.
