Prince Rogers Nelson was, alongside being an iconic performer, musician and singer, a truly prolific and remarkable Songwriter both for himself and many, many other acts.

Despite over 400 Songwriters currently being honoured in the Hall of Fame, including a large amount of his contemporaries, for some reason Prince has been continually overlooked.

Having written numerous Hit songs performed by Artists such as Madonna, Sinead O'Connor, Chaka Khan, Alicia Keys, The Bangles, The Time, Vanity 6, Sheila E, Sheen Easton, Tom Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Apollonia 6, Stevie Nicks, Celine Dion, Andy Allo, Liv Warfield, Judith Hill, Larry Graham, Martika, Mazarati and many, many more Prince has shown himself over his nearly 40 years career to be a true master songwriter.

Whilst Prince was concerned with his Art rather than receiving awards it is important that his true talent and achievements are recognised and passed onto future generations now that he is sadly no longer with us.

 In 2016 the Co-Chairmen of the Songwiters Hall of Fame stated that Prince would be inducted into the Hall 'sooner rather than later' but this has sadly not happened.

Let's make this right and give PRINCE his credit!
