Why I decided to go the UN on the 18th July 2018?
Dear supporter of this petition
Thank you for your unwavering support to stop farm murders in South Africa.
This is a little background on why I started the petition to END FARM MURDERS IN SOUTH AFRICA.
On the 24th of October, 2017, I was greatly encouraged when I saw what a young South African, Talitha Basson, was planning to do on FB to stop the farm murders in South Africa. She was planning an event on FB and invited all farmers to join her in a protest drive to Cape Town Green Point stadium to protest against the farm murders in South Africa.
She mobilized thousands of farmers almost on her own using her cell phone and Facebook and the united action resulted in a protest drive to Cape Town which successfully took place on the 30th of October, 2017.
Over 10,000 people attended the protest drive.

This is what inspired me to start the petition ‘END FARM MURDERRS IN SOUTH AFRICA’.
As a pastor, and a Suffragan Bishop of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (www.pawinc.org) who does not have much influence in the corridors of power in South Africa.
I asked the Lord what I could do in a small way to stop the murder and mayhem in South Africa, especially on the farms, and He told me to start a petition.
On the 26th of October 2018, I started this international petition with one signature, my own, and today there is over 181,890 signatures, and still growing each day.
I addressed the petition to His Excellency, Mr Antonio Guterres, the present Secretary of the United Nations, appealing to him to use his influence in the UN and throughout the world to help us in South Africa to end the scourge of farm killings in our country.
I left Cape Town on July 15, 2018 to travel to the UN in New York in order to promote our petition to the UN.
I hand delivered the petition (in DVD format) with pics, reports, petition letters, statistics, and a big A2 poster with a pic of the Afriforum march in Pretoria, which can be found on our online petition, to the front desk at the UN.
I am still looking for a meeting with Mr. Adama Dieng, since December 14, 2017, and I have still not received a reply from his office. However, I will continue to knock on the door, until it opens. The Special Adviser of the Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide, Mr. ADAMA DIENG, must be made aware of the dire threats in South Africa against certain peace loving communities.
We must stop the violence and murder in South Africa before it is too late.
The work regarding the petition with more than 181,000 supporters for South Africa is not yet over with the UN.
It has just begun.
We will continue until we are heard and until the UN responds and the senseless killings on South African farms, cities and towns are stopped.
I have arrived in DETROIT where I will stay for a few days to spread the message in the many churches I am visiting. I am telling them the truth about what is really going on in South Africa. I have a laptop with many PowerPoint presentations which I use for my travels.
I also refer all the people to our petition at
https://www.change.org/p/the-secretary-general-of-the-united-nations-end-farm-murders-in-south-africa to sign the petition.
I want to raise awareness everywhere I go and to increase the support to at least 200,000 signatures before I leave the USA.
My next stop will be INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA for a few days.
Then I am off to ATLANTA, Georgia for 7 days.
LET US CONTINUE TO GET OVER 200,000 SIGNATURES.
I wish to thank ALL South African expats living in the USA, who have signed this petition, and who have supported my stay and travels in the USA.
