26 JULY, 2018 MY VISIT TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Dear supporter of this petition Thank you for your unwavering support to stop farm murders in South Africa. Our online petition now stands at 182,863 supporters. I am confident we will soon hit the 200,000 mark. As I have indicated before, I left Cape Town on July 15, 2018 to travel to the UN in New York in order to submit our petition to the Special Advisor for the Prevention of Genocide, Mr Adama Dieng. While in America, I was privileged to meet with the Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, the Honorable Bishop Charles H. Ellis III, at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan. I shared with Bishop Ellis my great desire to see the Lord restore law and order in South Africa. While I am touring America, it is easy for me to compare the safety and security of the two countries. America, generally speaking, is a very safe and prosperous country. My home country, South Africa, is gradually sliding towards a state of anarchy and disorder. Gone are the days when we were dreaming of the new South Africa. Each day the new is looking more and more like the old South Africa before 1994, with daily riots, looting, boycotts, violent public demonstrations and public disorder. The leaders of radical, Marxist political parties like the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Black First Land First (BLF) are promoting radical and revolutionary policies, such as expropriating property (especially farms) without compensation. Our constitution, in section 25, protects the rights of the individual to own property. These two radical parties are also encouraging their members to forcefully occupy vacant, private land and to resist the police when they attempt to remove the occupiers. This has led to many violent clashes with the police authorities. The Bible teaches us in Romans 13 the principle of subjecting ourselves to authorities placed over us, such as the state and the police, who are there to bring law and order. In South Africa, these radical parties are teaching their members to violently clash with the governing authorities; they teach rebellion, and this we are not allowed to tolerate. South Africa has always been known as a peace loving nation, but has become the murder capital of the world. Commercial farmers are living in fear because many of them have been brutally murdered by meticulously planned hit squads who have a political agenda to take back the land by force. As committed, born again Christians, as well as believers of others faiths who believe in promoting peace, we must resist and oppose the revolutionary and violent agenda of these militant, radical parties. I wish to thank the Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), Bishop Charles Ellis III of Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, to address his Bible study group on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, on conditions in South Africa, and to allow me to promote my online petition to the UN to stop farm murders in South Africa at his church and also at the coming Summer convention in Atlanta, Georgia. I also wish to express my tremendous gratitude towards Bishop Harry Grayson and Lady Grayson, and the members of Messiahs Temple in Ypsilanti, Detroit, for hosting my stay in Detroit. This is much appreciated. (See www.messiastemple.org/history-of-the-temple.html) I will continue my campaign to stop the relentless violence, murder and mayhem in South Africa until we are heard and until the UN responds to our petition and the senseless killings on South African farms, cities and towns are stopped. I have arrived in DETROIT where I will stay for a few days to spread the message in the many churches I am visiting. I am telling them the truth about what is really going on in South Africa. I have a laptop with many PowerPoint presentations which I use for my travels. I wish to refer all the people to our petition at https://www.change.org/p/the-secretary-general-of-the-united-nations-end-farm-murders-in-south-africa to sign it. I want to raise at least 200,000 signatures before I leave the USA in August 2018. LET US CONTINUE TO GET OVER 200,000 SIGNATURES. I wish to thank ALL South African expats living in the USA, as well as all members of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) who have signed this petition, and who have supported my stay and travels in the USA. I am looking forward to a marvellous convention in Atlanta, Georgia from 4-11 August, 2018.
