The corona virus (COVID-19) is an incoming threat that not only endangers the members of the high school, it also endangers our community as a whole. People can be carriers of this virus without knowing they have it and go to school thinking they are fine. continuing enrollment in school for the next couple of weeks will not only endanger us, it will put our families and friends at risk of infection and only allow the virus to spread to more of the East Islip Community. We must close the doors of the East Islip School district until it is safe for everyone in the community.
