During this unforeseen time the class of 2020’s senior year has been ruined. We have lost the end of our senior year which is something that is proclaimed to be the most memorable and important, it’s everything you work and dreamed for.  All those long nights studying and stressing over SAT’S, midterms this right here is the moment we’ve dreamed of. To have it stripped away and given an “alternative ceremony” that isn’t remotely as memorable as the traditional one sucks! I know this isn’t something you guys or anyone could’ve predicted, but a virtual ceremony just feels like a slap in the face it isn’t nearly the same. We’ve worked to hard and came so far. With all that’s going on in our lives right now this probably hurts the most. This ceremony is a chance to say goodbye to all the teachers and friends who pushed you this far, to finally have your time to say “and in this moment we are infinite”. All in all I hope you guys consider postponing the ceremony until we can have it the proper way. I’m positive the class of 2020 would not mind at all but to cancel it and have it virtually is just unacceptable.
