Senior Quotes

The Issue

My name is Max Willson, I attend Seminole Ridge Community High School and will be graduating in the class of 2019. It has come to my attention that there has been a district level decision of revoking the privilege to have senior quotes. Having the opportunity to include a senior quote with your yearbook picture helps every student express their individuality and creativity, a statement that will describe who you are, something that we can look back at in future years to remember our high school experience. I know incidents have happened for the Palm Beach County School District to vote on this decision. However, with stricter guidelines as to what can be published will prevent any inappropriate quotes from occuring. Therefore, I propose this petition to bring attention to the school district of reevaluting  this decision and allowing the class of 2019 to have their senior quote privileges back.
