There’s just two weeks left to let the Royal Parks know what you think about their plans to bring back charges for people to play sport in Hyde Park. Earlier this week we went to a meeting for users of the old football pitches to share their thoughts about the proposal. We’ve seen very little done to promote the consultation to other users and ordinary Londoners, who could soon find themselves priced out of their own parks. That’s why we’ve been helping them by telling as many people as possible about it. Or at least we were until we got a call from the Met police. You can read more here http://bit.ly/1CXstZJ Despite this, we are not going to be stopped from campaigning to keep Hyde Park free for everyone to use. But we need your help to make sure the Royal Parks know that we don’t want a private company managing our parks and we definitely don’t want them to charge people to play sport! Everyone should be able to play sport in Hyde Park without fees. Don't let the Royal Parks privatise our parks www.change.org/HydeParkSport Share this message on Twitter http://bit.ly/1Ey8mmC Tell the Royal Parks what you think on their Facebook Page http://on.fb.me/10Udi60 Not on Facebook or Twitter? Help us make sure that as many people respond to their consultation http://bit.ly/HydeParkConsultation We are strongly against their proposals and we support option 1. Details can be found here http://bit.ly/HydeParkProposals Together we can keep our parks free. Leo, Paul, Joe, Nathan and Vanessa London Charity Softball League @SaveOurSoftball #SoSHydePark
