To get vet (Dr Jatinder Dhami) struck off

The Issue

This vet kicked and stamped on a dog who he claims bit him during a procedure to give her an injection. The story can be found here - https://metro.co.uk/2019/07/27/vet-who-kicked-and-stamped-on-dog-still-allowed-to-work-10472245/In the story he admits that his actions were 'irrational' and 'adrenalin-fuelled'. Would you want you precious pet to be treated by someone with these character traits. He should be calm and rational. I question the integrity of his witnesses statement and character references. The veterinary nurse who defended him would have been out of a job had she not defended him, so this throws an element of doubt into the mix.

There is mention of two other allegations that were rejected - why were they rejected? Did the victims not have any evidence? There is no smoke without fire.

This kind of behaviour when you are in trusted position is not acceptable.

People who are cruel to animals are often cruel to people too and sometimes animal cruelty leads to more serious violence against the person - animal cruelty is where it starts.
