In light of recent events concerning Jamie Michael, a former Royal Marine, this petition is requesting support for the resignation of Buffy Williams, the Welsh Labour Senedd Member for the Rhondda.

Her ridiculous actions have caused nothing but stress and worry for his family and friends for basically sharing his concerns on social media. What happened to freedom of speech?

His voicing of opinion was in no way inciting hatred and was not in anyway racist. He simply asked for support from the local community to help protect the children of families living in the Rhondda. He wanted the local Politicians, MP’s, Assembly members and anyone of importance to listen to the voices of concern in order to make a change to secure the safety of the children.

Now after the jury cleared him within 20 minutes which was clearly a no brainer, we all knew that, this is obviously embarrassing for Buffy Williams, and quite rightly so.

With this mind her resignation is imperative and must happen.
