This morning, I awoke to see that Urban Outfitters had reached a new low. They are now selling a Kent State sweatshirt with fake blood stains on it, a twisted nod to the shooting at Kent State in Ohio on May 4, 1970 that killed 4 people and injured 9 others, one of which is permanently paralyzed.

It's almost as if UO thinks that just because the shooting was a long time ago, it's not still raw and it doesn't still hurt everybody involved. But it does. I thought they had hit rock bottom with their t-shirt that said "Eat less" a couple of years ago, but this is definitely rock bottom.

What's next, Urban Outfitters? Virginia Tech? Sandy Hook? Columbine? I wouldn't put it past you at this point.

Urban Outfitters issued a half-assed "apology", of course, but the damage is already done.
