• The plights of millions have been ignored, with our current restrictions on trade many families are going with out any income to buy even the most basics of goods.

I humbly ask that you support this petition to get Garden Centers and nurseries trading again. To help them provide the income for there employees.

An absolute benefit to reopening this industry is it will allow those in lockdown to also be able to start planting food in their home's, thus relieving the burden on food security. 

Everyone has the time right now to start feeding themselves, so being aloud to do this is a Human right.

The industry employs hundreds of thousands of people, that are geared to the production of plants and vegetable seedlings. We can all benefit from lifting the restrictions on the Horticultural industry as a whole.

It would also benefit all who are in there homes with something to do who are unable to work at this time.

Keeping us all sane.

I truly believe that Garden centers and nurseries should be elevated to an essential service, and be allowed to start trading again.

Think about the economy, food security, mental health and relieving pressure off government.
