Presently NRI students residing abroad don’t have a facility to get admission in Government medical college under NRI quota. Henceforth their children cannot get the admission to premier medical college in india and they have to go for private medical college in India or look for the admission overseas. We NRI's prefers to send our kids for higher studies in India to get good education.At present NRI students doesn't have a facility to get admission in Government medical college under under DASA (Direct Admission of student abroad) scheme. However under DASA scheme NRI can get the admission to the Government Engineering college by paying slightly higher fees compare to resident Indian students.As we NRI residing abroad don't have good coaching facilities like the resident Indian students, so NRI students cannot compete to their full strength to match up the level of resident students. Henceforth NRI students faced problem in cracking the competition like AIIMS, AIPMT and other state board PMT exams.Considering the contribution and importance of NRI's work force in the sustainable development of India in terms of huge remittance and foreign currency We all NRI request government of India to start the DASA scheme for the admission to the medical colleges same like its provided for Engineering students. Kindly help the NRI communities, by helping their kids, those who wants to make their career in medical field.
