While many birds are fed in wintertime with seeds, food and fatballs, pigeons are so often excluded, kicked and chased away. This is cruel and heartbreaking. Pigeons need food too!

- Ask Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, to enforce the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which “protects” all wild birds, including pigeons, from abuse.

If the Act were enforced, there wouldn’t be any doubt about whether is OK to let pigeons be kicked, chased and stamped on.
- Ask your MP to call for a debate in Parliament about pigeon abuse.
- Contact HM The King. Explain that women who defend pigeons are threatened. The Queen Consort has a particular interest in protecting women.

- Ask the Department for Education to teach children to be kind to pigeons. This should be on the National Curriculum.
