Pigeons are not ours to abuse, misuse or exclude from being fed.
Pigeon abuse is against the law. Who knows that?
Pigeons urgently need protection under the Wildlife and Countryside Act,1981, whereby it is an offence to harm any wild bird, including pigeons. See links to the Act in the main petition text.
Pigeon abuse is animal abuse. Please ask Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, to enforce the Wildlife and Countryside Act, so that pigeons are effectively protected by law. There is no justification for the cruelty towards them.
Ask your MP to help enforce the Act.
Contact the Royal Foundation Centre of the Prince and Princess of Wales, to say that children should be taught to be kind to pigeons and never to abuse them. What children are taught in early childhood stays with them for life:-

Pigeons are heroes of both World Wars, who flew for hundreds of miles, bearing messages, thereby saving the lives of thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen and civilians. Nevertheless, these facts are being hidden from public knowledge. The true story of how pigeons helped save our nation during its darkest days of war must be told and never forgotten.
One day, we will get the abuse of pigeons stopped. It is cruel and totally unnecessary.
