Pigeons are being kicked, chased and even stoned to death.
Why? They served our nation in wartime. Pigeons are beautiful, intelligent birds and sentient beings.
I reported this cruelty to those with the power to outlaw and stop it, including the PM, my MP, Labour, the Liberal Democrats, the Animal Welfare Party and the Green Party.
Not one MP has had the decency to reply.
I have received one reply. It is from the RSPCA. It reads as follows: -
“All wild birds in England and Wales, including pigeons, are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended). Any one witnessing stoning/kicking etc of pigeons should call our control centre on 0300 1234 999.

Meanwhile, anyone who defends pigeons from abuse risks their own safety. Women are particularly at risk in this respect. I was verbally abused for defending pigeons in a London park. It was frightening.
This is completely unacceptable.
Pigeon abuse is incredibly cruel. It leads to further abuse of people and animals. Fact.

Everyone deserves parks and public places to be abuse free, as they once were, before the awful era of pigeon abuse began.
Pigeons need help now. MPs must defend them, and the Wildlife and Countryside Act must be effective in protecting them from cruelty. Otherwise, the abuse will just continue.
Please speak up to defend pigeons.
I suspect that there is money behind pigeon abuse.

I am still awaiting replies from the BBC, Classic fm, Sir David Attenborough, PETA and the Labour Party, the Lib Dems, the Animal Welfare Party and the Green Party. Pigeons need full and effective protection under the law, and for that law to be enforced. Let’s make it happen.
