Pigeon abuse is no fun for pigeons! They don’t like to be chased, bullied and kicked.
Why should pigeons be singled out for persecution?
Pigeons give life to our parks and public places. They are loyal, intelligent and friendly. They served our nation during both World Wars, as vital messengers, and their contribution must never be forgotten. They helped us to achieve victory, and the freedom which we all enjoy today.
Pigeons do not pose a risk to human health, as confirmed by vets and the RSPB.
Persecution of pigeons, which damages Great Britain’s reputation as a Nation Of Animal Lovers, must end. Pigeons need to be protected by law, under the Animal Welfare Sentience Bill, currently being discussed in Parliament.
