Pigeon abuse is cruel and unnecessary. It can really spoil our day. Let’s ask our MPs to outlaw this abuse, which makes parks and public places unsafe and threatening. It is not fair that pigeons are excluded, while other birds are being fed.

Pigeons at the waterside
Pecked up some crumbs,
Enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sun -
Until rough, booted feet
Kicked and chased them away
And a cloud masked the sun
That early Spring day.
Please help stop this abuse. Ask your MP to give pigeons protection under the law, so that the abuse no longer happens. Then, everyone would be able to enjoy parks and public places again, in peace and safety.
