The former Minister of Health and Child care of Zimbabwe (Obadiah Moyo) had his "corruption" case dismissed October 7th 2021, after the prosecutor "perceived" to have presented very little evidence of Abuse of the Office / Power and Corruption. Contrary to this result, evidence has been presented publicly through various outlets highlighting quite the opposite.

It is the citizens intent to request assignment of a Special Prosecutor and an Independent Investigation with the highest level of transparency that this case be reopened.  We request thorough investigation of ALL individuals and companies associated with this scandal, both domestic and abroad. 

Mr Moyo faced corruption charges related to a US$60 million contract awarded to a UAE based firm, Drax Consult a 2 month old company allegedly without going through proper processes and accepting excessively inflated pricing of Covid PPE hinting to personal profitable gains.

A parallel Interpol investigation, triggered after US$2 million was paid to the company’s newly opened account in Hungary, has put to rest government claims that no payment had been made after approval of the first US$20 million procurement.
