Eating innocent animals who have been killed and who have lost their chances at lives for the satisfaction of your taste buds is cruel and unnecessary. The prejudice against animals, suggesting that we are the only animals who deserve a fair chance at life, is a cause of ignorance and fear, and can be fought.

Some people claim that we animal activists should not impose our views on others, but they forget that by eating the flesh of living being, they impose their views on innocent animals by the tens of thousands every day.

There is no way to reconcile a moral or spiritual sense of peace with oneself when you have animal bodies digesting inside your stomach and intestine. The only way to live a life of total peace and acceptance is to go vegetarian, and this is the only way our world will learn to embrace a practice of common courtesy, of intelligence, and empathy for other sentient beings.

You wouldn't eat your dog. You wouldn't eat your wife. Why then will you eat a piglet?
