Change the parking time limit from 1 hour to 2 hours in Wotton-under-Edge

Change the parking time limit from 1 hour to 2 hours in Wotton-under-Edge
The Issue
Now first things first, I 100% agree that traffic wardens and parking restrictions are essential to the town. It keeps a flow of cars moving in and out creating spaces for shoppers and diners. If there weren’t any wardens the spaces would be filled with residents, shop keepers and employees (falcons included) taking spaces al day,
But....1 hour simply isn’t enough time. We like to think that over the past 9 years we’ve been open we’ve put the town somewhat on the culinary map. And along with the other pubs, cafes other fantastic shops, give a great reason to visit the town. We are crippled by the 1 hour time limit. 1 hour to lunch, shop or get a hair cut isn’t enough time. And changing the limit to 2 hours would make a massive difference.
It would only take 3/4 of the more proactive businesses to up sticks to really change the landscape and quality of our high street. Loosing only a few key businesses would soon offer a very different place to try encourage visitors to our wonderful town.
